# Fantail Weddings

Boutique, founder-led wedding planning for elopements and intimate weddings across the South Island of Aotearoa, New Zealand. Led by Rebecca Brosnahan, with 15+ years of experience. Capacity-limited by design: only a small number of weddings each year, plus elopements. Winner, LUXlife Magazine Global Wedding Awards 2026 (Luxury Destination Wedding Planning Specialists of the Year, New Zealand).

## Services
- Elopements: curated just-the-two-of-you celebrations across the South Island. Planning from NZD $4,300 (vendors and on-the-day costs quoted separately).
- Intimate Weddings: full-service, concierge-style planning for roughly 20–60 guests. Planning from NZD $8,200; most couples invest NZD $65,000–$230,000 in total across vendors and the celebration.
- The Wedding Navigator: an online consultancy for NZ couples planning their own wedding: three live calls with Rebecca plus a personalised planning toolkit. NZD $850 + GST.
- Design, Coordination & Day-of Management: creative direction, styling, and on-the-day management for couples who have done the bulk of their own planning.

## Where we work
Across the South Island of New Zealand, including Queenstown, Central Otago, the Mackenzie Country (Aoraki / Mt Cook), Banks Peninsula and Akaroa, Fiordland, and the wider Southern Lakes and alpine regions.

## Good to know
- Overseas couples can legally marry in New Zealand. A marriage licence costs about NZD $150, takes ~3 working days to process, and is valid for 3 months.
- Recommended booking lead time: 12–18 months for elopements and intimate weddings; peak season (late February–April) often books ~18 months out.
